# Characters & Lore

In the wake of a thawing Ice Age on planet Nectera, 4,444 Buzzkills emerge from a two-million-year slumber. Wake up a Queen or Worker Bee to begin your journey.

In the frigid expanse of <mark style="color:yellow;">Nectera</mark>, a once-vibrant planet, <mark style="color:yellow;">4,444 Buzzkills</mark> faced an unyielding challenge—the perpetual embrace of the NovaBuzz Ice Age. For two million years, their industrious hives lay dormant beneath the icy surface, frozen in time.

A cosmic event, the impact of a colossal asteroid, sent shockwaves through the icy layers, warming the frozen world. As the NovaBuzz Ice Age began to thaw, the Buzzkills emerged from their prolonged slumber, greeted by a transformed landscape on the content of <mark style="color:yellow;">Pollenasia</mark>.

As the appointed beekeeper, you step into this realm, charged with the mission to rejuvenate your hive amidst the remnants of the once vibrant planet. Hidden beneath the thawing ice lies the Buzzkill Hatchlings. Surviving the deep slumber the hatchlings are eager to find some hives to make home. Free mint a hatchling to explore the Buzzkill universe during the test phase.&#x20;

**Buzzkill Genesis Collection**

The Buzzkill Genesis Collection is set to mint at the beginning of December. You’ll wake up one of two kinds of bees, the majestic Queen Bee, or the industrious Worker Bee.&#x20;

Meet the royal powerhouses of Buzzkill—the <mark style="color:yellow;">222 Queen Bees</mark>! With unrivaled $honey earning prowess, they are pivotal for defending your hive against raids. Each hive is gracefully ruled by maximum of three queens, ensuring a steady stream of $honey.&#x20;
